Etienne Jaumet and Neman, the drummer from Herman Dune, are ZOMBIE ZOMBIE and their first album A Land for Renegades was voted among the Top 10 best albums of 2008 by Rough Trade. But for this hard-working musician Zombie Zombie was not enough. He has recorded with just about everyone across the French, international and indie alt folk world. Etienne’s solo album Night Music followed in the footsteps of Zombie Zombie. Analogue synths and hypnotic loops are still at the core but now at the essence is Steve Reich rather than John Carpenter. Carl Craig being one of the very few unshakable pillars in modern electronic music did a lot more than simply mix the album – he based his work on a common musical culture. Without adding anything but magic, Carl Craig took what Night Music already was and enhanced it. Etienne performs tracks from Night Music live in an exclusive one off performance for CFFF.

The 202s

are an Irish duo influenced as much by folk as by electro. The 202s oscillate between long electronic ambient vibes and refined pop using a mixture of harmonica, psychedelic sounds, a taste of pop & a funk base. Their first album signed to a French record label shows a productive duo in full bloom.
