April and the Extraordinary World
- Avril Et Le Monde Truqué

Please note the film has not been classified for theatrical release in Ireland but has a PG DVD Cert.

Based on the drawings of Jacques Tardi, this fine and imaginative animated adventure is set in a Paris of 1941 where the world runs on coal and steam, and electricity has yet to be discovered. Two scientists, husband and wife, are on the brink of producing a powerful invincibility serum, only to suddenly and mysteriously vanish leaving their young daughter April (voiced by Marion Cotillard) behind.

Ten years later, accompanied by her precious talking cat Darwin and trusted friend Julius, April finds herself at the centre of a bizarre conspiracy which sets in train the search of her parents, encountering many mysteries and dangers in her quest to uncover the truth behind their disappearance.
